چکیده

• All adult kidney transplant recipients should be monitored for anaemia. • Possible dietary causes of anaemia, including iron, folate and vitamin B12 deficiencies, should be investigated. • A dietitian should be consulted if dietary deficiencies are shown to be contributing to anaemia. • It is appropriate to use pharmacological doses of nutrients in conjunction with dietary interventions to correct anaemia.
